Ortofons new EC series silver plated cables * MMCX type

Ortofon, cartridge and LP accessories maker is now offering a new segment, featuring the EC Series after market cable:

EC7S in black color and EC8S in white colour.

This beauties offer a high quality upgrade or replacement cable for your MMCX equipped IEMs, *shure, Sony, Westone, EarSonics, UE among few.

The gold-plated MMCX-type brass connector, a silver-plated OFC conductor is presented in light weighted aluminium enclosure.

Without changing music’s sound signature dramatically, the user encounters a pleasant improvement over the stock cable offered by most manufacturers.

The slightly clearer treble and midrange, a more tightly controlled bass, as well as braided nylon sleeve below the Y split keeps the cable from tangling while in transit.

With starting price at $128USD the EC series cables are Made in Japan and worthwhile at least a try.
